do something pretty

outside it is windy, the birds are clinging onto the trees, the fat balls i hung up are swinging. this morning the orange clouds were swirling across the sky so the sky changed every second it's colour and form. i sat and watched it instead of doing my essay.

is it possible to have your heart broken if you have not fallen in love? is it possible to have a broken heart if you haven't broken up with anyone? if they are still saying sweet things to you? if you know they still care? if distance is the only factor involved, can you still get your heart broken?

pink skies. they have never been as bright since.
glowing globes.
glen campbell and the temptations.

Gotta love the way the sky does its dance of magic. Watching that would beat doing an essay any day. Is not the sky an essay of our Creator?

There are many reasons a heart can be broken, they are all summed up in 'unrealised expectations'. That probably won't change ethe circumstances but may give a renewed vigour for some new expectations, even one's closer to home. Even hills can have their hidden crevases.

Hmm.. and what was your essay? did you finally get it done?

Some can say many words, many fine words -- but they may not be in their season. Not all good and delighting words are worthy of hearing. The time and space for them may not be right. Wisdom is required here. A wise heart and lifef lived accordingly, I believe, will never be broken but will always enjoy fulfilment. But who can ever live such a life? Just One has.
